Welcome to BF Corgi

Dedicated to raising exceptional Pembroke Welsh Corgis with a focus on health, temperament, and lifelong companionship.

A Family, Not a Facility

All of our Corgis are AKC or CKC registered and health tested to ensure genetic soundness and overall well-being. We are committed to producing not just beautiful dogs, but confident, well-adjusted puppies that make outstanding additions to family homes.

As a family of six, our puppies are raised in a loving, hands-on environment where they receive daily interaction and exposure to the sights and sounds of everyday life. This ensures they leave us friendly, curious, and ready to bond with their new families.

Meet the Parents

Our beloved Corgis are the heart of BF Corgi. Each one is a treasured member of our family.

Panda the Corgi

Panda

Panda is the perfect amount of independent as she is loving. She is my right-hand girl. She always lays under my desk while I work, but never pushes for attention. She is playful, silly, gentle, and loving. I originally chose her for our program for her beautiful unique qualities — she is just as special on the inside as she is unique on the outside. She is a blue-eyed mismark with a full trait and health DNA panel done.

CKC Registered
Pumpkin the Corgi

Pumpkin

Pumpkin is very loving and always in a good mood. She is just waiting to cuddle anytime we walk in the room. She plays with her puppies and was a fantastic mom for her first litter. She displays what a beautiful curly long tail looks like on a full-grown corgi. She will never stop loving you once she meets you — extremely loyal and open to any kind of change as long as she is getting loved on.

AKC Registered
Royal the Corgi

Royal

Champion bloodlines

Royal is our stud. He is super sweet and loving — always full of excitement when we walk into the room. He runs over whimpering from excitement. We can truly say he LOVES DEEPLY, and his pups have proven to be the same. He comes from champion bloodlines and many of his relatives have gone on to become therapy dogs or champions. His first puppy ever born is in line to become a hospital therapy dog soon. And Royal smiles when he’s happy — teeth showing, lip lifted, the whole thing. It never gets old.

Champion Bloodlines
Ivy the Pembroke Welsh Corgi

Ivy

AKC registered · full fluffy coat

Ivy is very intelligent and loves nothing more than laying by her family and being in the middle of the fun. She is ready to do whatever everyone else wants to do — sweet, cuddly, calm, and easy to relax with.

Our Puppy Training & Development Program

The foundation for a happy, well-adjusted Corgi begins in the first few weeks of life. Here's the specialized training and enrichment our puppies receive.

Early Neurological Stimulation

Starting at just 3 days old through the first two weeks, we use ENS exercises developed by the U.S. military. These gentle handling techniques help improve stress tolerance, cardiovascular health, and the immune system — puppies who receive ENS often grow into calmer, more resilient adults.

Sensory Training & Exposure

Between 3–8 weeks of age we introduce puppies to a wide range of textures, surfaces, smells, and gentle handling. From walking on grass, carpet, and tile to age-appropriate toys and sounds, we work to create well-rounded, confident pups.

Sound Desensitization

To help prevent sound sensitivities later in life, we gradually expose puppies to common household noises — vacuums, doorbells, thunderstorms, children playing — at low volumes during early development, increasing as they grow.

Socialization

Our puppies are exposed to people of all ages, including children, and gently introduced to other friendly adult dogs. They learn appropriate play, how to read social cues, and develop confidence around humans and animals alike.

Foundational Training

We begin around 3 weeks old with gentle name recognition, following humans, and introduction to basic commands such as "sit" and "come." By the time your puppy goes home, the groundwork is laid.

Litter Box Training

Litter box training starts around 3 weeks of age and helps puppies develop good hygiene habits early — teaching a designated potty area speeds up housebreaking and reinforces keeping their sleeping space clean.

Crate & Kennel Introduction

We begin crate training gradually with positive reinforcement, helping puppies associate the crate with calm and safety. Short group sessions come first, then individual, so they're comfortable for naps or bedtime.

Basic Manners

From an early age we reinforce polite behavior — sitting for attention, no jumping, waiting patiently for food. These small habits form the foundation of a well-mannered adult dog.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you socialize the puppies?
Our family has four children (ages 2–12). Our Corgis love being around kids, so your corgi will have plenty of time with different aged children and can adjust with ease. We also have cats and other dogs in the home. Due to their sensitive immune systems, we do not expose puppies to any other animals or kids outside of our home until it's time to meet their new family — it's important they aren't exposed to anything that can bring diseases, worms, or sickness. They are kept in a well-sanitized area.
Are they registered?
Yes. Each puppy comes with limited AKC or CKC registration. Please ask about full registration if you plan to breed your Corgi — full registration has never been sold, so it's something we need to know and will take seriously when considering.
How much is the deposit?
Our deposit requirement is $350, and it goes toward your total price. We accept cash or online payments through Good Dog, Venmo, Zelle, and PayPal. Your deposit is nonrefundable — this ensures your dog has a home that is serious about adopting them and doesn't lose a chance on another great home.
Why do some have tails?
Almost all Pembroke Welsh Corgis are born with full-length tails, and tail docking is a cosmetic choice traditionally associated with the breed's working history. We do not automatically dock tails. If you wish to have your puppy's tail docked, you must let us know by day 5 after birth, because the procedure must be done within the first few days of life and we need time to schedule a veterinary appointment. After that window it's no longer considered safe or humane. We respect both choices and want every family to decide what's best for them.
Where are you located?
Our breeding program is based in Texas, and we can ship to any of the 50 states.
